Accessory Kit for Makita XPH03?

Started by sshelden on July 02, 2024

I'm considering getting a Makita XPH03 drill. Does anyone have experience with the accessories that come with it or if there's an accessory kit available?

Yeah, I have one and I agree with @LordNemra. The stock accessories are fine for light use, but you might find yourself needing more for heavier tasks. There's an accessory kit available called the Makita XPH03ZB which includes a carrying case, tool bag, extra battery, bit tips, and more. You can check it out at Overview of the Makita XPH03 Drill.

I've been using my XPH03 for a couple of months now and really like it! It comes with some basic accessories like a variety of drill bits, a hex driver, and a charger. However, you might want to invest in additional items depending on the projects you plan on working on.

Thanks for the suggestions! The additional items sound like they'd be really helpful. I'll take a look at that accessory kit.

I also use my XPH03 for various projects around the house. For me, the flexibility of having multiple batteries has been essential. I recommend getting an extra battery if you can afford it.

Good point @NattyGoat, an extra battery definitely comes in handy when working on long projects or multitasking. It's worth considering for sure.

I'll make sure to check out the accessory kit and possibly get an extra battery. Appreciate your input!
