I've been looking into getting a cordless drill for some concrete work. Has anyone had any experience using the Black+Decker BDCI20 for that purpose? It seems pretty powerful.
BDCI20 Drill for Concrete Work?

I've used it for light to medium-duty tasks around my house and it worked great! However, for heavy-duty tasks like working with concrete, you might need something more powerful. But for general use, I think it's a good choice.
Yeah, the BDCI20 is decent for small projects, but for serious work on concrete, I'd recommend going with a hammer drill or a rotary hammer. Those are designed specifically for breaking through hard materials like concrete. The BDCI20 might struggle with that kind of work.
Thanks for the input! I'm just doing some small repairs and patching up my driveway, so I don't think I'll need anything too heavy-duty. I'm leaning towards getting the BDCI20 since it seems versatile enough for other tasks around the house as well.
I've been using the BDCI20 for some concrete work and it's worked pretty well for me! It's not as powerful as a hammer drill or rotary hammer, but it's got plenty of power for smaller jobs. I also found this article on TechReviewer that provides an overview of the BDCI20 Overview of the Black+Decker BDCI20 Drill. You might find it helpful in making your decision!
