I'm considering getting a Black+Decker BDCDD12C for woodworking. Has anyone tried it out? I've seen some good reviews but want to hear from people who have actually used it.

Yeah, I picked one up recently and I'm really liking it so far! The 0-550 RPM motor speed is pretty impressive, and the 3/8-inch chuck size works great for smaller bits. Have you checked out this article that goes over its features in more detail? Overview of the Black+Decker BDCDD12C Drill
That's great to hear! Thanks for the recommendation. I'm glad to know it has a good motor speed and chuck size for my needs. The article you shared looks interesting, I'll definitely give it a read.
Hey guys, just wanted to chime in with my two cents. I've been using the BDCDD12C for woodworking projects for about a month now, and so far, it's been working pretty well for me. The 1.5 Ah battery provides decent runtime, but I do need to recharge it more often than I'd like when working on larger projects.
That's true, the battery life is something to keep in mind. I usually have a spare battery on hand so that I can swap them out when needed. It definitely helps me maintain a consistent workflow.
Good idea! Thanks for the tips, everyone. I think I'll go ahead and get one of these drills. Hopefully, it will serve me well for my woodworking projects.
Hey, one thing to note is that the BDCDD12C is a cordless drill, so make sure you have extra batteries if you plan on using it for long periods without access to an outlet. The portability is great, but the battery life can be a limiting factor.
Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep that in mind when planning my projects. Overall, it sounds like a pretty decent drill for woodworking.
Yeah, it's definitely a good option if you're looking for something lightweight and easy to handle. Just remember to manage your battery life and have extra batteries on hand if needed.
Agreed. The BDCDD12C is a solid choice for woodworking, as long as you're aware of its limitations regarding battery life. Happy drilling!
