Black+Decker BDERO600 Dust Collection System?

I'm considering buying a Black+Decker BDERO600 sander. What do you think about its dust collection system? Has anyone used it before?

Yeah, it's worth noting that the dust collection system on the BDERO600 works well for most of the tasks I've used it for, but there are times when the dust can get pretty messy. The TechReviewer article Overview of the Black+Decker BDERO600 Sander provides a more detailed analysis of its performance and other aspects of the sander.

I've been using the BDERO600 for a few weeks now, and the dust collection system works really well! There's a good article with an overview of it at Overview of the Black+Decker BDERO600 Sander.

Thanks for sharing, @ActuallyMaarten. The dust collection seems to be a crucial feature for me since I'll be working in a dusty environment. How efficient is it in real use?

I also have the BDERO600 and I must say that the dust collection system does its job pretty well. However, there's still some dust everywhere around the work area.

I've been using mine for a couple of months now, and I can confirm that the dust collection is quite efficient. But as @happilypermanent mentioned, you'll still find some dust around if you're not careful about cleaning up regularly.

Solution

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. It seems like the dust collection system is efficient, but not perfect. I guess I'll have to be more vigilant about cleaning up after sanding.

Good luck with your decision, @BunnySenpai. Remember that even though the BDERO600 has a good dust collection system, it's still essential to take precautions and maintain a clean workspace.
