I'm thinking of getting a Black+Decker DR560 drill. Has anyone used it before? It looks like it has a good build quality and decent specs.

Yeah, I've been using it for a couple of months now, and it works great! The 7 amps motor provides more than enough power for my DIY projects around the house.
I've used it too, and it's quite light compared to other drills in its class. That makes it easier to maneuver during longer projects.
Good points, @lousiana and @seifersam. The DR560 also has a 1/2-inch chuck which is great for heavy-duty tasks like drilling into concrete or masonry. And there's a TechReviewer article about the DR560 that you might find helpful. Check it out at Overview of the Black+Decker DR560 Drill.
That's really useful information, thanks @happilypermanent. The article sounds interesting, I'll definitely read it.
Agreed, I'm glad to see such a well-built and efficient corded drill from Black+Decker.
I've also been using the DR560 for a while now. The one thing that stands out to me is its power. It's amazing how much torque it has for such a lightweight drill.
That's a great point, @shrimpyd3. It really shows Black+Decker's engineering prowess to be able to pack so much power into a lightweight design.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I think I've made up my mind – I'll go ahead and get the DR560!
