I've been looking at getting a new chainsaw and was wondering what you think of the Black+Decker LCS1020? Has anyone had any experience with it?

Hey, I've been using the Black+Decker LCS1020 for a while now and I must say, I'm quite impressed with it. One of the things that stood out to me is its portability - no power cords or gas required! Plus, there's this really helpful article about it at Overview of the Black+Decker LCS1020 Chainsaw.

Yeah, I picked one up recently. It's worked well for me so far! The battery life seems decent enough for most tasks.

Oh nice, I'll definitely check out that article. Thanks for sharing!

The battery capacity is a pretty important aspect to consider. I've found that having more Ah can be really beneficial when working on longer projects.

I've been using the Black+Decker LCS1020 for tree trimming around my house and it's worked great! The 10-inch bar length gives me plenty of cutting power.

That's good to hear. I'm mostly interested in it for cutting firewood, so I'm curious how well it would do with that?

It handles firewood cutting just fine. You may need to change the chain occasionally though, as it can wear out faster when dealing with harder materials.

True, and don't forget about the chain speed! The 16.4 FPS is more than enough for most tasks, but if you're doing a lot of heavy cutting, you might want to consider something with a higher speed.

Alright, thanks for all the input guys. I think I'll give it a try and see how it works out for me!
