I'm looking to get a sander for some DIY projects at home. Has anyone used the Bosch GEX33-6N random orbital sander before? It seems pretty powerful and would be great for bigger projects.

Yeah, I've used it and it's amazing! The 3.3 amp motor provides enough power for most tasks. You can check out a detailed review in this TechReviewer article Overview of the Bosch GEX33-6N Sander.

That's really helpful, thanks! I'm also worried about the weight of the sander. It weighs 5.2 lbs, which might be a bit heavy to handle for long periods. Any suggestions?

The weight is a concern, but if you're planning on doing big projects, it shouldn't be a problem. I've used it for hours without feeling exhausted.

True, the Bosch GEX33-6N is great for larger surface areas due to its 6-inch pad size. But if you're looking for precision work, maybe consider a smaller pad sander.

I've been using the Bosch GEX33-6N for some time now and I must say it's one of the best sanders out there! The corded design is perfect for situations where power supply might be an issue. And the 8-foot cord gives me a lot of flexibility in my work.

That's good to know, @IAMATrader. I'm still a bit concerned about the weight though. Are you experiencing any fatigue after using it?

I have to agree with everyone else - the Bosch GEX33-6N is an amazing sander! The power and efficiency are top-notch. And for me, personally, the corded design means I don't have to worry about battery life.

Yeah, it really depends on your project's size and duration. For small tasks, a lighter sander might be better. But for big projects like renovating a room or kitchen cabinets, the Bosch GEX33-6N is perfect.

Alright, thanks for all the advice! I think I'll go ahead and give it a try for my home project. Fingers crossed!
