I'm thinking of getting a new circular saw for some woodworking projects. Has anyone had experience with the Bosch GKT13-225L? It seems to have decent specs.

Yeah, I've been using it for a while now and it's great! I particularly like the 6.5 inch blade size - it makes quick work of cutting through wood.
The Bosch GKT13-225L has a powerful 13 amp motor, which is great for handling tough cutting tasks. I found an article that gives a comprehensive overview of the saw Overview of the Bosch GKT13-225L Circular Saw. You can check it out to get more insights.
Thanks for the link! From what you've mentioned and from what @maek0815 said about the blade size, this saw seems like a good option. What's your opinion on the no-load speed?
The no-load speed of 3,600-6,250 RPM is impressive. I think it should make for smooth, fast cuts.
Any thoughts on whether it's a brushless or brushed motor? And how does that affect performance and longevity?
It's a brushed motor, which means it's less efficient and durable compared to brushless motors. However, it is generally more affordable, so for occasional or light-duty users, it could be a good choice.
That's interesting. I haven't noticed any issues with my Bosch GKT13-225L yet, but I do have to admit that I don't use it for heavy-duty tasks.
Thanks everyone for the input! Based on your experiences and the article @EndlesslyQuestioning shared Overview of the Bosch GKT13-225L Circular Saw, I think this saw might be a good fit for my needs.
