I've been considering getting a new drill for some DIY projects and came across the Bosch PS11. Anyone have experience with it or know anything about it?

The Bosch PS11 Drill has some impressive specs! For example, it offers a maximum voltage of 12 volts, which provides good torque and efficiency for DIY projects. You can find more details in this TechReviewer article Overview of the Bosch PS11 Drill. I'm particularly interested in the 0-1,300 RPM speed settings, which should be great for various tasks.

Yeah, I've used one before! It's pretty lightweight and easy to handle. I think the 3/8-inch chuck size is great for smaller bits.

That's really helpful, @Yugiboy12! The RPM settings sound like they'd be ideal for my needs. Do you know anything about the clutch?

The Bosch PS11 comes with a single clutch setting, which should be enough for most basic tasks. But if you need more advanced control over your drilling speed and torque, you might want to look into other options.

That's good to know, @FrankAlton! I'm mostly using it for smaller projects around the house, so the single clutch setting should work fine for me.

You're welcome, @ChiefRunningBear and @lambdapyro. Just make sure you get the right battery size for your needs, as that will affect how long you can use the drill without recharging. Higher amp-hour (Ah) ratings and watt-hour (Wh) ratings will give you more work time between charges.

Good point, @Yugiboy12! I'll definitely keep that in mind when choosing my battery. Thanks everyone for the insights!
