I've been looking into getting a good sander for my woodworking projects. Has anyone used the Bosch ROS20VSK before? What are your thoughts?

Yes, I've used it and it's pretty decent. It worked well on some furniture refurbishing project I had recently. Check out this article for an overview of its features Overview of the Bosch ROS20VSK Sander. The sanding pad size is 5 inches and the orbit diameter is 2.5mm.
Thanks for sharing, @simplygod. That sounds useful. What about the power rating? I've seen it mentioned as 2.5 amps. Is that enough for my needs?
Yeah, 2.5 amps should be sufficient for most woodworking tasks. It's a corded sander too, so you don't have to worry about battery life.
I've used the Bosch ROS20VSK on both wood and metal projects with good results. The variable speed control is quite handy. Just make sure you're using the right sandpaper for your project. Overview of the Bosch ROS20VSK Sander has a more in-depth review if you want to check it out.
Thanks, @thefastestgun. I wasn't aware that it had variable speed control. That's definitely something I'll need to look into. How does it handle metal?
It handles metal well enough, but you might need to adjust the sanding pad and choose a harder grade of sandpaper for better results.
True, you'll need to take extra care when working with metal to avoid damaging the sander or your workpiece.
Alright, I think I'm leaning towards getting this one. Thanks for all the input everyone!
No problem, @Lislowskij. I hope it works out well for you! If you have any questions later on, feel free to ask. Good luck with your projects!
