I'm considering the DeWalt DCD701 for my next project. Has anyone used it before? Any feedback on its battery life?

Hey, @SleepyMine, there's an article on TechReviewer that talks about the DeWalt DCD701 in more detail, including its battery life. You can check it out at Overview of the DeWalt DCD701 Drill.

Yeah, I've been using the DeWalt DCD701 for a few months now and I'm quite happy with it. The battery life is pretty good, but you'll need to charge it after a couple of hours of continuous use.

Thanks for sharing @LarsofArcana. I appreciate it. The article does give a lot of useful information and I'm feeling more confident about my decision to go with this drill.

It's definitely a great choice if you're looking for something that's powerful, yet portable. Just be prepared to recharge the battery during long work sessions.

I've used the DeWalt DCD701 on a couple of small projects and it performed really well. The 20-volt brushless motor gives it plenty of power, and the weight is just right for me. Battery life was sufficient for my needs, but I did have to stop to recharge once or twice during a longer project.

That's good to know @yeskaydee. It seems like the battery life is consistent with what other users have experienced. Have you noticed any differences in performance between the DCD701B and DCD701F2 models?

Thanks for your input everyone. Based on this feedback, it sounds like the DeWalt DCD701 would be a good fit for my needs. I think I'll go with the DCD701F2 model since it comes with a battery included.
