I've been looking at the DeWalt DCD805 drill and was curious about its dimensions and weight. Has anyone used this particular model or has any experience with it?

I've been using the DCD805 for a few projects around the house lately and it's been great! The Overview of the DeWalt DCD805 Drill provides an overview of its features. One thing that stands out is the weight - it's only 2.95 lbs, which makes it incredibly easy to handle and maneuver.

Yeah, I've had one for a while now and it's been working great! The dimensions are 1/2 inch chuck size, motor speed range of 0-650/2,000 RPM, voltage of 20 V, maximum blows per minute of 28,050 BPM, and clutch settings of 15. It's brushless too!

That sounds like a good option if I'm going to be moving around a lot or doing some overhead drilling. Thanks for sharing your experiences with it!

Absolutely! It's also pretty powerful despite its lightweight design, so you won't have any issues getting the job done.

I've been considering this drill for some time now but was worried about the battery life since I usually work on long projects. Have you guys had any issues with that?

No, I haven't faced any problems with the battery life so far. The 20V motor provides plenty of power and the 2 amp-hour (Ah) battery in the DCD805D2 kit has served me well for my projects.

That's good to hear! I think I'll go ahead and purchase this drill. Thanks everyone for your input!
