Dewalt DCS570H1 Metal Cutting?

I'm thinking about getting a new circular saw for some metal cutting projects. Has anyone tried the Dewalt DCS570H1? It looks pretty good.

Hey, @peanutpanda! I've tried the Dewalt DCS570H1 on metal, and it actually does cut quite well. You can use it for cutting metal with the right blade. Check out this article Overview of the Dewalt DCS570H1 Circular Saw for more details. The saw itself is really powerful and efficient, especially when combined with its 7-1/4 inch blade.

I have been using it for a while now and it works fine, but I haven't used it on metal specifically. However, I can tell you that its performance in wood is great.

That's good to know, @busterj99! I was a bit worried about whether it would be up to the task. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yeah, @busterj99, that's really useful information. It's always great to hear real-world experiences from folks who've used the tools.

I have been using it on metal and it works fine, but it seems a bit underpowered for some heavier cutting tasks. But for lighter projects, it's perfect!

Thanks for all the input, guys! It sounds like the Dewalt DCS570H1 could be a good choice for me if I'm mostly working with light to medium-duty metal pieces.
