I've been looking at getting a new circular saw and came across the Dewalt DCS570P1. Has anyone used it before?
Dewalt DCS570P1 Battery Life?

Yeah, I've used it for a couple of projects now. It's a really good saw! The battery life is quite impressive.
Overview of the Dewalt DCS570P1 Circular Saw gives a great overview of the saw and its features. You'll find that the 5 amp-hour battery provides sufficient power and runtime for various cutting tasks. However, users may need to consider additional batteries for large or time-consuming projects.
That's helpful, thanks! So it seems like the Dewalt DCS570P1 would be a good choice for my needs. Do you think the 5 amp-hour battery would be enough for most small projects?
It depends on the project and your cutting habits. For smaller projects, I think it should be fine. But if you're planning to work for extended periods without breaks, you might want to consider a higher Ah battery.
I've used this saw for some time now, and I must say that the battery life is indeed quite good. However, I did need an extra battery during a particularly long day of cutting. It's definitely useful, but having a spare would be a wise decision if you plan on using it heavily.
