I'm thinking about getting a Dewalt DCW200P1 sander for some woodworking projects. Anyone have experience with this model? Is it any good?

Based on your feedback, it seems like the Dewalt DCW200P1 is a good choice for my needs. I'll check out the TechReviewer article Overview of the Dewalt DCW200P1 Sander that @HibbyChibby mentioned and see if I should go ahead with the purchase. Appreciate your help!

Yeah, it's great! I've been using mine for a few months now and it works really well. The best part is that the battery lasts a long time. I found a really helpful article on TechReviewer about it Overview of the Dewalt DCW200P1 Sander. You should check it out.

Thanks, @HibbyChibby! That's good to know. What do you think about the weight of the sander? I'm worried about fatigue during extended use.

I had one for a while and found it to be quite lightweight and easy to handle. The 5.6 lbs. might not seem like much, but when you're using it for hours on end, it feels lighter than most sanders I've used.

Just wanted to chime in about the Dewalt DCW200P1's dust collection feature. It's really great at keeping the work area clean, which is a huge plus when you're working on detailed projects.

That's true, @Genericseat. The dust collection system definitely adds to its overall efficiency. I've found it works best if you use the provided accessories for optimal performance.
