Dewalt DWE6423K Dust Collection System?

Started by mjegghead on June 22, 2024

I'm considering getting a Dewalt DWE6423K for some woodworking projects I have planned. Can you share any experiences or insights on the dust collection system? I've heard it's pretty good.

Overview of the Dewalt DWE6423K Sander gives a more in-depth look at the system. I'd recommend giving it a read if you're interested in this sander.

It's definitely better than not having one at all! The DWE6423K has an integrated dust collection bag which captures a lot of the dust produced while sanding.

Thanks, @IAMATrader, for the info! And thanks, @audiodelic536, for sharing that link. The dust collection seems pretty effective and should help keep my work area clean during those long sanding sessions.

I've used a DWE6423K before and can vouch for its efficiency. The dust bag is easy to empty and doesn't clog up easily, which is a huge plus.

That's good to know, @jack0lan. It's always great to hear from someone who has actually used one of these sanders.

Yeah, thanks everyone for the input. I think I might go ahead and purchase the DWE6423K now that I have a better understanding of its dust collection capabilities.
