I'm looking to buy a drill that can handle masonry work. Has anyone used the DR260C? I'd love to hear some thoughts.

Yeah, I've been using it for some smaller tasks around my house. It's pretty decent!

Solution

Thanks for sharing that link, @TrickHayes! What about the motor speed and clutch settings? Are they suitable for masonry work?

The 0-1500 RPM motor speed should be sufficient for most masonry tasks. As for the clutch settings, it has a single setting which might not be ideal, but you could always adjust your drilling technique accordingly.

I've used the DR260C for some masonry work and found it to be decent. It's not as powerful as some other drills on the market, but it does the job for smaller projects.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences! I think I'll give the DR260C a try and see if it works for me. Hopefully it can handle my needs!
