I'm looking for a good drill to use on some masonry projects. Any recommendations?
Drill for Masonry Work?

The Craftsman CMCD713C2 cordless drill is great for masonry work! It has a 1/2-inch chuck and a 0-600/1,900 RPM motor speed. I found this article that provides an overview of it Overview of the Craftsman CMCD713C2 Drill.
Yeah, I've heard good things about the Craftsman CMCD713C2 from some friends too.
The key thing to consider is the weight of the drill. A heavier drill can become quite tiring to use over long periods, especially when working on masonry projects where you need a lot of precision and control.
True! I'm looking at the specs for the CMCD713C2 and it weighs 6 lbs, which seems pretty heavy compared to some other drills. Is that something I should be concerned about?
That's a good point. It might not be the best choice if you're planning on doing a lot of overhead drilling or working in tight spaces.
On the other hand, it does have a 2 Ah battery capacity, which means you won't need to worry about recharging as frequently during your projects.
That's a good thing! But back to the weight, is there any way around that? Like using some kind of drill bit extension to make the work easier?
You can use an extension, but it won't really reduce the overall weight of the drill. The best solution would be to find a lighter drill if you're concerned about the weight.
Thanks for the input everyone! I think I'll look into some lighter options too. But I'll definitely check out the Craftsman CMCD713C2 as well, especially considering its battery life.
