Hey everyone, has anyone tried the Dewalt DCCS620P1 chainsaw? I'm looking for a good battery-powered chainsaw and am wondering if this one is easy to start.

Yeah, mine works great! It starts pretty easily compared to other chainsaws I've used. The article Overview of the Dewalt DCCS620P1 Chainsaw provides an overview of the chainsaw and its features.

That's interesting! I'm glad it's easy to start. I recently had trouble starting a gas-powered chainsaw, which was quite frustrating. What about the performance? How does it compare?

Oh, that's good to know. The performance seems solid too. The brushless motor and 5 Ah battery capacity make it pretty versatile for various tasks.

Exactly! I've used it for trimming trees and cutting firewood, and it handles both jobs well. It's definitely a reliable tool.

I was considering the Dewalt DCCS620P1, but I'm wondering if the chain brake is an important feature for me to have? I need to know if it's worth the extra cost.

I don't think you'll regret getting a chainsaw without a chain brake. The one on my gas-powered saw was more of a hindrance than a help, honestly. It felt like more work to remember to engage and disengage it. But that's just my experience.

Good to know! I'll probably go ahead and get the DCCS620P1 then. Thanks for all the advice!

You're welcome! Enjoy your new chainsaw, and let us know how you like it!
