The 24-volt brushless motor provides good torque for most tasks. According to the TechReviewer article Overview of the Greenworks DDG402 Drill, it can deliver 0-450 RPM and 1,750 RPM in high-speed mode. That should handle most of your needs.

Yeah, I've been using mine for a few months now and it's been great! The battery life is impressive, and it doesn't weigh too much. It has a 2 Ah battery which gives you good runtime.

That sounds pretty decent. Have any of you faced any issues with the Greenworks DDG402? I'm particularly concerned about its durability.

I haven't had any problems with mine, but there's an article Overview of the Greenworks DDG402 Drill that provides a detailed overview and specs on the drill. It might help answer your questions.

Thanks for sharing, @compasscreative. The weight of 2.27 lbs is quite comfortable for extended use. Do you think the battery life is sufficient for a typical DIY project?

Absolutely! I've used it for several projects around the house and never found myself without power when I needed it. You can always grab an extra battery if you're doing something large-scale.

I was also wondering about the Greenworks DDG402's motor speed and how well it handles different materials, especially when drilling into concrete or metal.

It's also worth mentioning that the Greenworks DDG402 has a clutch setting system with 20 different settings, which allows for more precision when drilling or driving screws.

That's really useful to know! Thanks everyone. I think I might go ahead and get the Greenworks DDG402 for my next project. Any recommendations on where to buy it?

Best Buy usually has good deals on tools, so you might want to check there. Or you could always look on Amazon or Home Depot.

Yeah, I got mine from Amazon and had a pretty good experience with the pricing and delivery time.
