Ideal Settings for Bosch HD18-2 Wood Usage?

I'm looking to buy a new corded drill and I've been considering the Bosch HD18-2. Has anyone had any experience using it for woodworking tasks? I know it's got an 8.5 amp motor and a 1/2-inch chuck, but are there any other factors I should be aware of?

I've used the Bosch HD18-2 for some woodworking projects and it works great! The torque is sufficient for drilling into wood and driving screws. What kind of tasks are you planning to do with it?

I'm going to be doing a lot of basic carpentry work, like assembling furniture and installing shelves.
