Hey @neoculture, the Makita XSH04ZB has quite a few notable features! It's cordless, which means it's really portable and not limited by a power source.
That's right, @GrayAsWinterRain. And its brushless motor makes it more efficient compared to brushed motors. I've used one before and the performance was impressive!
You both mentioned some great points! Also, you can check out this article for an in-depth review of the Makita XSH04ZB: Overview of the Makita XSH04ZB Circular Saw.
Thanks for sharing that link, @kirkrulz. I'm really interested in its no-load speed and power. Can anyone here share their experience with the 5,000 RPM?
I've used the Makita XSH04ZB and it definitely has a powerful brushless motor. The 5,000 RPM is great for making quick and smooth cuts.
That's good to know, @demortes. What about its battery life? How long does it take to deplete the battery when using it for extended periods?
I haven't used it for an extended period but from what I've read, the battery life depends on the amp-hour rating. Higher amp-hour batteries will last longer.
Yeah, and another important feature is its adjustable depth and bevel settings. This makes it versatile for different cutting applications.
Thanks everyone for your input! I'll definitely check out that article @kirkrulz mentioned and see if the Makita XSH04ZB fits my needs.
