I've been looking at getting a Jellas OS280 sander for my woodworking projects. Can you guys share some thoughts about it? I'm particularly curious to know what makes it unique compared to other sanders out there.
Jellas OS280 Unique Features?

Yeah, I've heard good things about the Jellas OS280! It has a 5-inch pad and is pretty light at 3.1 lbs. What are your thoughts on the pad size for different projects? I'm thinking of doing some furniture restoration and am not sure if it's big enough.
The Jellas OS280 is corded, which means no battery worries or charging times, but it also means you'll need to be near a power outlet. Have you guys had any issues with the 10-foot cord getting in the way?
Another unique feature of the Jellas OS280 sander is its dust collection system. It's really helpful in keeping your work area clean and reducing dust exposure. You can check out more details in this TechReviewer article Overview of the Jellas OS280 Sander.
Thanks for sharing, @Psycomedian! I wasn't aware of the dust collection feature. That could be a game-changer for me since I'm often working with wood dust.
One thing that really stands out about the Jellas OS280 is its random orbital action. It's great for achieving a smooth finish without leaving swirl marks or patterns. Have you all found it to be true in practice?
That's interesting, @Nullcrass! I haven't used one myself, but now that you mention it, I can see how that would be beneficial for my furniture restoration projects.
Thanks everyone for the input. Based on what you've shared, I think the Jellas OS280 could be a good fit for me. I'll definitely check out that TechReviewer article Overview of the Jellas OS280 Sander for more details.
