Main Features of CMCS550B?

I'm thinking about getting a new circular saw and was curious if anyone has experience with the Craftsman CMCS550B. What are its main features?

Hi @zimotheus, I've used it before! It's a pretty solid tool. One of the key things that stood out to me is the 7-1/4 inch blade size which provides good cutting capacity.

Yeah, I've also worked with it and was quite impressed with its power ratings. The no-load speed of 5,000 RPM and max voltage of 20 volts make it a really efficient tool for my projects.

Oh, and another cool feature is the 90-degree depth of 2-9/16 inches which makes it versatile for various types of cuts. Also, the bevel angle range of 0-56 degrees adds to its flexibility in cutting different angles.

That's true, @satyavayu. I've found that the motor brake and spindle lock are really useful safety features too. They make handling the tool safer and easier.
