Yeah, it's a decent choice. It has a 14-inch bar, which is good for general cutting tasks. The weight is also pretty reasonable at 10.4 lbs.
Oh, and one thing I really liked was the brushless motor. Makes it a lot more efficient and durable compared to some other models.
Right, and it's battery-powered too. That means no need for cords or gas, which can be a real pain sometimes.
Hey, have you seen this in-depth review on the Worx WG384.9? It might be worth checking out Overview of the Worx WG384.9 Chainsaw for more details.
Thanks, @BrandonPozo. I'll definitely take a look at that article. The brushless motor and battery-powered aspect really appeal to me.
Yeah, those features make it pretty versatile. Plus, the tool-free chain tensioning is a nice touch as well.
That's true. It makes adjustments so much easier. I'm also curious about its chain speed - does anyone know how fast it cuts?
The Worx WG384.9 has a chain speed of 26 FPS, which is decent for a battery-powered chainsaw.
Thanks, @maek0815. That should be fine for most tasks I have in mind. Does anyone else have any opinions on the Worx WG384.9?
Well, I think it's a good choice if you're looking for something lightweight and easy to use. The battery-powered aspect also means less noise and fumes.
Yeah, but one thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't come with a battery, so you'll have to buy that separately.
Thanks for the heads-up, @Spartan033. I wasn't aware of that. Might be something to consider.
