I'm considering buying a Makita ADCU10Z chainsaw. Has anyone used it before?

I've been using the Makita ADCU10Z for a few months now, and I must say it's pretty impressive! It's lightweight and easy to handle.

Thanks, @dcerisano. I'll definitely check out that article. What do you think about the chain speed and how well it performs?

The chain speed is quite good on this model, at 78.67 FPS without load. It makes quick work of cutting through small branches and limbs.

I have used the Makita ADCU10Z for some tree trimming around my house. The chainsaw performed well and was easy to use. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a battery, so you'll need to purchase one separately.

That's good to know, @lousiana. I hadn't realized it didn't include a battery. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, just make sure you get the right battery for it. It can be a bit pricey, but worth it in the long run.

One thing to keep in mind is that while it's not the most powerful chainsaw on the market, it's still quite capable and delivers consistent performance. Just make sure your tasks aren't too demanding.
