It's been working great for me! The precision and control with the palm grip design is really nice, especially for detailed work. The dust collection feature helps keep the workspace clean too.
I've used the Makita BO4556 on a few projects now. Overall, it's a pretty good sander. There's an article Overview of the Makita BO4556 Sander that gives an in-depth analysis of its features and specs. You might find it helpful for making your decision.
Thanks, @WaffleMasterZ. I'll check out the article you mentioned. The dust collection feature sounds really useful. How about the power? Is it enough for more demanding surfaces?
The power rating is 2 amps, which might not be suitable for heavy-duty tasks. It works well on softer materials and detailed work, but for more robust surfaces, you might need a sander with a higher amperage rating.
That's good to know. I'm mostly doing smaller projects at the moment, so the 2 amps should be fine. Thanks everyone for your input!
You're welcome, @ItsMayAnyway. If you ever need any more advice, just let us know! Good luck with your new sander!
