That's great to know, thanks for sharing the link! How does the weight of the sander affect its usability? I'm worried about fatigue while using it for extended periods.

The Makita BO5041 is quite lightweight at only 3.5 lbs., which makes it easy to handle and use for long durations without much strain. It's a great choice for both hobbyists and professionals alike.

I've used the Makita BO5041 on various projects, and I must say that the variable speed control is really helpful when working with different materials. The 4,000 to 12,000 OPM range gives you a lot of flexibility in your sanding tasks.

That's good to hear! Does anyone have any experience using it on more difficult surfaces like concrete or metal?

I used the Makita BO5041 for some renovations and found it to be excellent at handling rough surfaces. It made quick work of the project, which was a pleasant surprise.

That's interesting! How do you find the dust collection on this sander? Is it effective in keeping your workspace clean?

The dust collection is quite good on the Makita BO5041. I didn't have too much mess to clean up during my project, which was a big plus.

Thanks everyone for sharing their experiences! Based on this feedback, I think I'll go ahead and purchase the Makita BO5041. It seems like a versatile and user-friendly tool.
