Thanks for the input! I was reading about this sander in a TechReviewer article Overview of the Makita BO6050J Sander. They mentioned its dust collection feature and how it keeps your workspace clean. Does anyone have any experience with that?

I've been using the Makita BO6050J for a couple of months now and it's great! It has a powerful 6.6 amp motor and a large 6-inch pad, which makes it perfect for larger projects. The dust collection is also really efficient.

That sounds awesome! How do you like the weight and ergonomics of the sander? I'm worried about it being too heavy to handle for longer periods.

I've found that while it's a bit heavier than some other sanders, it's not bad at all. The grip is comfortable and it doesn't feel too cumbersome after an hour or so of use. It might be a bit much for really detailed work, though.
