The Makita XCU07PT worked great for me when I needed to cut some hardwood. It's not too heavy, which makes it easier to handle for extended periods.
That's good to know! I was wondering if anyone had tried using this chainsaw for a longer period of time? Also, does anyone have any experience with battery life? And by the way, there's an article about this chainsaw Overview of the Makita XCU07PT Chainsaw that you might find interesting.
Thanks for sharing your experiences, @Knowledge1337. I was also curious about the chain speed. Does anyone know if it's fast enough for cutting hard wood?
I've been using the Makita XCU07PT for a few months now and I can vouch for its performance with hardwood. The chain speed is definitely adequate for this purpose, although I did have to adjust the tension a couple of times.
That's great to hear, @lizz0188. Thanks for sharing your experience. The article Overview of the Makita XCU07PT Chainsaw mentioned by @Icejumper4 gives some insight into its features like the brushless motor and battery capacity. Does anyone find these aspects beneficial?
Yes, the 5 Ah battery is a real plus point. It allows me to work without interruptions for a good amount of time.
That's what I was hoping for! Thanks everyone for sharing their experiences. I think I'll go ahead and get this chainsaw for my hard wood cutting needs.
