Yeah, I've had it for about a month now. It works great! The battery power makes it really portable and easy to use outdoors.
That's awesome! I was browsing the TechReviewer article Overview of the Makita XCU09Z Chainsaw where they talk about this chainsaw in more detail. According to them, it has a 16-inch bar length and operates at 65.67 FPS chain speed. Have you found it useful for cutting firewood?
Thanks for sharing that link! Yeah, I'm considering getting some firewood soon and wanted to know if this chainsaw would be up to the task.
I've used mine for firewood before, and it worked perfectly fine. The chainsaw is powerful enough for the job. Just make sure you have a spare battery handy, as cutting firewood can take quite some time depending on how much you're processing.
Good advice! I always keep an extra battery charged just in case. Plus, it's really easy to change the chain if needed, which is a bonus.
That's good to know. I might end up getting one then. Thanks for the input everyone!
You're welcome! Let me know how you like it when you get it. Have a great time cutting firewood!
