I've been looking at getting a new drill, and I'm curious if the Makita XDT19 is any good.

Yeah, it's working great for me! There's a good article with an overview of it at Overview of the Makita XDT19 Drill.
I haven't used one personally, but I've heard that they're pretty reliable. The 4-speed feature seems like it would be useful.
The Makita XDT19 is definitely worth considering. I've used the XDT19Z model and found it to be very powerful and versatile. Plus, you can get a higher Ah battery for longer runtime if needed.
That's super useful! It looks like the refresh rate is 144Hz, which seems like it'd be great for gaming.
True, but I think the drill's battery life might be more important when working on DIY projects around the house.
Good point. The battery capacity definitely plays a role in how long you can use the drill without needing to recharge.
Absolutely. The different battery options (2Ah or 5Ah) for the XDT19 allow you to choose the right balance between power and runtime based on your specific needs.
That's really helpful! I'll have to think about whether I want a cordless drill or not, but the Makita XDT19 does seem like a solid option.
