I'm looking at getting a new drill and was wondering if the Makita XFD10 is any good. Has anyone used it?

Yeah, I've been using it for a few months now and it works great! I got the 18V version. You can read more about it in this TechReviewer article Overview of the Makita XFD10 Drill.
That's awesome to hear! I was looking at the XFD10Z model. Did you have any issues with the battery life?
Thanks for sharing, @herronicoras. I'm also curious about the power rating of the Makita XFD10. How does it compare to other drills on the market?
I've used both the XFD10Z and XFD10SY models, and they're quite powerful! The 18V motor is strong for most tasks around the house or workshop. However, if you plan on doing more heavy-duty work, you might want to consider a drill with a higher voltage.
Thanks @coldblow85! I'm mainly going to be using it for some DIY projects and small repairs around the house. Do you think the 18V motor will suffice for those tasks?
Absolutely, @ralphydubs. The XFD10 is more than capable for general DIY tasks. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it great for extended periods of use.
I just wanted to share the TechReviewer article Overview of the Makita XFD10 Drill that @herronicoras mentioned earlier. It goes in-depth on the Makita XFD10's features and performance.
Thanks for sharing, @HibbyChibby. That'll be really helpful to read up on before making my decision!
