I'm looking for some advice on the Makita XSH07ZU circular saw. Has anyone used it before?

If you're interested in learning more about the Makita XSH07ZU, there's an excellent article on TechReviewer that provides a comprehensive overview of its features and performance. Check it out at Overview of the Makita XSH07ZU Circular Saw.

Yeah, I've used one! It's pretty powerful and easy to handle. The 7-1/4 inch blade is great for most of my cutting needs.

I haven't personally used the Makita XSH07ZU, but I have read a lot about it. From what I understand, the brushless motor should give you longer runtime and better efficiency compared to a brushed motor.

I've been using one for a few months now, and I'm really happy with it. The variable voltage feature is particularly useful, as it allows me to adjust the power according to the material I'm cutting.

That sounds great! Thanks for sharing the link, @brave-new. I'll definitely check it out. The variable voltage feature seems like a game-changer.

Yeah, it's really convenient when you're working with different materials or need to adjust the cutting speed on the fly.

I used the Makita XSH07ZU for a recent woodworking project and was quite impressed. The motor brake helped me make precise stops while cutting, which is something I couldn't do with my old saw.

I've heard good things about the spindle lock too. It makes it much easier to change the blade when needed.

One thing I'd like to add is that the Makita XSH07ZU is quite lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to carry around and maneuver in tight spaces.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! I think I might go ahead and purchase the Makita XSH07ZU. It seems like a great choice for my needs.
