Makita XST01Z Accessories?

Started by ElectronicPug on June 23, 2024

I'm looking for some advice on the Makita XST01Z drill. Has anyone had experience with this tool? What accessories are included and do you need to purchase them separately?

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions! It looks like I'll need to pick up a battery and some extra bits. The TechReviewer article Overview of the Makita XST01Z Drill really gave me a good overview of the drill's capabilities too. I appreciate the input from everyone in this thread!

Hey @ElectronicPug, the Makita XST01Z comes with a 1/4-inch chuck size, 3 speed settings, and a max of 3,200 RPM and 2,700 BPM. However, it does not come with any accessories included, so you will need to purchase them separately.

@Booshie317 is right, the drill itself is quite powerful, but I found that I needed some extra bits and attachments for specific tasks. You can check out this TechReviewer article for more details on the Makita XST01Z and its features: Overview of the Makita XST01Z Drill.

Thanks for the input, guys! I was just curious about any additional accessories you might recommend for this drill. For example, would a Makita battery be compatible with this model?

That's a great question, @Nanomachines-Son. The Makita XST01Z does not come with a battery included, but you can purchase one separately. I've used the 18V Lithium-Ion batteries and they work well with this drill.

I recently bought the Makita XST01Z and I'm really happy with it so far! It's lightweight and powerful, which makes it perfect for my small DIY projects at home. As for accessories, I recommend getting some impact driver bits and a carrying case to keep everything organized.

@GameBoyAde has a good point about the carrying case. A case can be really helpful in keeping your drill and accessories all together and organized.

One more thing to consider is that while the Makita XST01Z does not come with any accessories, you have a lot of flexibility in choosing the ones you want based on your specific needs. That way, you can tailor the kit to your personal preferences and project requirements.
