I've been looking at getting a new circular saw and came across the Black+Decker BDCCS20C. Has anyone used it or know its maximum cut depth?

Yeah, I've used one before. It has a 90-degree depth of 1-5/8 inches and a 45-degree depth of 1-3/8 inches. You might find the Overview of the Black+Decker BDCCS20C Circular Saw helpful for more information.

That's really useful to know. So it seems pretty versatile for a variety of tasks. Do you think the 1.5 Ah battery would be sufficient for most projects?

I've been using one for some time now and love it. The battery capacity has never been an issue for me. However, I did have to replace the blade after about six months of use.

Just wanted to share my experience with the BDCCS20C. I used it recently for a small DIY project and was really impressed with its power and precision. The max cut depth is perfect for most tasks I've encountered so far.

Great to hear everyone's experiences! @@cathfreddie, regarding the battery capacity, I think 1.5 Ah should be more than enough for most users. However, if you plan on using it for heavy-duty projects or extended periods of time, a higher Ah battery might be beneficial. As for the blade replacement, that seems like an expected occurrence after six months of regular use.

That's good to know! I appreciate everyone's input. It sounds like this saw would suit my needs well, especially with the 1-5/8 inch cut depth at 90 degrees. Thanks for the advice!

No problem, @@cathfreddie! If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to ask. Good luck with your decision!
