Max Depth Cut Dewalt DCS570B?

Started by Joemorton33 on June 21, 2024

Hey, I'm looking at the Dewalt DCS570B for a woodworking project. Can someone tell me what's the max depth cut at 90 degrees and 45 degrees? I've seen the specs online but would like to hear some firsthand experience.

Thanks @TrickHayes! That's really helpful. The specs are in line with my requirements. I'll definitely check out the article Overview of the Dewalt DCS570B Circular Saw.

The max depth cut at 90 degrees is 2.563 inches, and at 45 degrees, it's 2 inches. I haven't used one myself, but that's what the manual says.

Solution

Hey everyone, just wanted to add that I've found the DCS570B to be quite versatile and powerful for my DIY projects. The depth cut capabilities have been great so far.

That's good to hear, @VastHybrid. I'm considering it for a big project at home and your experience gives me more confidence in the tool.

It really comes down to personal preference and specific job requirements. But overall, I think Dewalt has done well with this saw.

Agreed, everyone's needs are different. For me, the DCS570B fits perfectly for my work as a carpenter. But it might not be the best choice for everyone.
