Hey, just to add some more context on the Bosch PS42 drill, there's an article Overview of the Bosch PS42 Drill that gives you an in-depth look at its features and performance. The review is pretty comprehensive and covers everything from the motor power to battery life.

Hi @wailingwhaley, the Bosch PS42 is a great little drill! It's lightweight and powerful enough for most DIY tasks. I've been using mine for about a month now and haven't had any issues.

Thanks for sharing @seriousdolphin, I'll definitely check out the article. How about max drilling capacity? Is it enough for my needs?

As far as I know, the Bosch PS42 has a max drilling capacity of 1/4 inch, which should be more than adequate for most DIY projects around the house.

I'm thinking about getting the PS42-02 kit since it comes with a battery. What do you think? Is that a good option?

The PS42-02 is a great choice if you want a battery included. It's got a 2 amp-hour battery, which should give you plenty of runtime for most projects.

Thanks again for the input! I'm leaning towards getting one now. How do you find the battery life on yours @seriousdolphin?

To be honest, I haven't had any issues with the battery life. It's definitely a factor to keep in mind when planning larger projects, but for typical DIY tasks, it hasn't been an issue.

Agreed! I've never found myself without power when using my PS42 during normal usage. But if you're doing something more intensive or prolonged, you might need to consider battery life.

That's good to hear. Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'll go ahead and purchase the Bosch PS42-02 kit based on your recommendations.
