I'm looking into getting a new drill and was wondering if the Craftsman CMCF800C2 is any good. Has anyone used it before?

Yeah, it's working great for me! The max drilling capacity is quite impressive, too. There's a good article with an overview of it at Overview of the Craftsman CMCF800C2 Drill. You should check it out.
That's super useful! Thanks for the link, @massiveart. It looks like the drill has a 1/4 inch chuck size and a motor speed of 0-2,800 RPM. Do you think that's enough for most tasks?
I've used it for some small projects around the house, and it worked fine. But for heavier-duty work, I'd recommend something with more power.
@massiveart, did you find the battery life to be sufficient for your projects? How long does it last?
The battery life is decent. It's a 1.3 amp-hour battery with an estimated 26.0 watt-hours capacity, so it should last you for most small to medium-sized tasks.
That's good to hear. I'm worried about the weight of the drill as well. How easy is it to handle and maneuver?
It's not the lightest drill out there, but it's manageable. I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged periods of work, though.
The Craftsman CMCF800C2 is quite versatile, but if you're planning on doing some heavy-duty tasks regularly, you might want to consider a more powerful option.
Thanks for all the input, guys. I think I'll do some more research and see if there's something better suited for my specific needs.
