I've been looking into getting a new drill and was wondering if the Bosch 1191VSRK is any good. Has anyone used it or has some experience with it?

That's interesting, @Dizmatiz. I recently read an article about this drill on TechReviewer which gave it a thorough assessment. The Overview of the Bosch 1191VSRK Drill goes into detail on the features, specifications, and performance of the 1191VSRK. You might find it helpful for making your decision.

I've used one before and it's great! The max drilling capacity for the Bosch 1191VSRK is quite impressive, especially considering its power and size. It can handle heavy-duty tasks like drilling through concrete or masonry.

Oh nice! Thanks for sharing that @erock0138. I was particularly interested in its motor speed and chuck size since those are important factors for me when choosing a drill. Do you think this one fits the bill?

Yes, based on my experience and what I've read in the TechReviewer article, the Bosch 1191VSRK's 0-3,000 RPM motor speed and 1/2-inch chuck size should be more than sufficient for most tasks. It definitely has enough power for heavy work.

Just to chime in, I used it recently too and was really happy with its performance. It's not the lightest drill out there, but the 7 amps motor provides a good balance between power and weight. Plus, the 1/2-inch chuck is great for using larger bits.

That's true @dcerisano. The Bosch 1191VSRK does have a sturdy feel to it, and I'm sure it would last long under heavy use. But remember, it's a corded drill, so keep that in mind when considering its portability. If you need something more portable, a cordless drill might be a better fit.

Thanks everyone for the insights! Based on what you've said, I'm leaning towards getting the Bosch 1191VSRK. The performance and features seem to align well with my needs. I'll probably order it soon and give it a try.
