I've been looking at getting a Bosch ROS20VSC sander and was wondering if anyone knows the maximum grit size it can handle?

I just checked the TechReviewer article Overview of the Bosch ROS20VSC Sander and it doesn't mention the max grit size for the Bosch ROS20VSC sander. They do talk about other features and specs though!

Hi @TheSixTeens, I have the same one and it's great for my woodworking projects. As for your question, I don't remember the exact max grit size, but you might find an answer in this TechReviewer article Overview of the Bosch ROS20VSC Sander.

The ROS20VSC is a fantastic sander! It has a 5-inch pad, which is perfect for most of my work. But as for the maximum grit size, I'm not sure either.

Oh, that's a bummer. I was hoping to find the max grit size in that article. Thanks anyway, everyone.

Yeah, I also checked their site and couldn't find the info there either. Maybe we'll have better luck with another model or brand? What do you guys think?

I've used a few different sanders before, but the ROS20VSC is my favorite for sure. It's versatile enough to handle most tasks without breaking the bank.

That's true, @crypticspider. Plus, it has a 2.5mm orbit diameter which gives a nice smooth finish. I wouldn't want to switch to another model just yet.

Agreed! The 2.5mm orbit diameter really does make a difference in the end result. And if we need more power for bigger projects, we could always invest in a heavier sander later on.

Good point @booksandbloggin. I think I'll stick with this one for now and see how it goes. Thanks again for all your help!
