I'm looking at getting a new circular saw and came across the Milwaukee 2530-20. Anyone have experience with it or any recommendations? I've heard good things about its cutting power.

I used one on a recent project and was pretty impressed! The 3,600 RPM no-load speed is great for making quick work of cuts. Plus, having a brushless motor means less heat build-up and longer lifespan.
@Lizzard81 mentioned that the saw has a no-load speed of 3,600 RPM, which is impressive. I've also read in an article Overview of the Milwaukee 2530-20 Circular Saw that this saw offers excellent power-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for tackling tough cutting jobs.
That's really interesting! The power-to-weight ratio sounds great for doing some heavy-duty work. Does anyone have experience with the battery life? How long can you expect to run on a single charge?
I've been using the Milwaukee 2530-20 for a while now, and I'm pleased with its performance. The battery life is decent, but it does depend on the amp-hour rating of the battery you're using. Higher amp-hour batteries tend to last longer.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @Themainfox14! I'll make sure to check out the amp-hour ratings when choosing a battery.
One thing I like about this saw is its bevel angle range of 0-50 degrees. That gives you a lot of flexibility when making angled cuts.
@Lizzard81, that's a great point about the bevel angle range! It would definitely come in handy for various cutting applications. Another feature worth mentioning is the spindle lock, which makes it easy to change the blade without needing any tools.
That's awesome! The more versatility and ease of use I can get from my circular saw, the better. I'll keep all these factors in mind when making my decision.
Just remember that no saw is perfect, and it comes down to finding the right tool for your specific needs. Take your time researching and make sure you're comfortable with your choice.
Thanks for everyone's input! I'll continue my research and see if the Milwaukee 2530-20 fits the bill for me.
