From what I recall from the article Overview of the Milwaukee 2727-21HD Chainsaw, it has a 12 amp-hour battery which should provide decent runtime for most tasks. Of course, actual runtime may vary depending on the specific task and user.

I haven't used this specific model, but I did recently read a TechReviewer article about it Overview of the Milwaukee 2727-21HD Chainsaw. The article seems to suggest that it's a solid choice for cutting firewood due to its power and portability.

Yeah, the Milwaukee 2727-21HD is great for cutting firewood! I've been using mine for a couple of months now, and I really love how lightweight it is. The chain speed is also impressive - 6,600 RPM is more than enough to get through even the tougher pieces of wood.

That's good to know! I'm always looking for a reliable chainsaw for my firewood cutting needs. One question though, does anyone have any experience with the battery life on this model?

Thanks for sharing your experience and the link to the article! It's definitely helpful to hear from someone who's already using the chainsaw. The battery life is a big concern of mine since I'll be doing a lot of cutting at once.

Yeah, the 12 amp-hour battery has served me well so far. Remember though, it also depends on how heavy you work the chainsaw. I've been taking breaks when needed and haven't had any issues with the battery dying on me mid-cut.

Good to know! I might go ahead and get one then. The portability is a huge plus for me as well since I'll be using it in different locations. Thanks everyone for the insights!

You're welcome! Glad I could get some helpful feedback. Have fun with your new chainsaw when you get it, @agresticoak!
