Power & Speed Settings on Craftsman CMCS500M1

I've used it before and it's quite good! The no-load speed is 4,000 RPM which should handle most tasks with ease.
Great to know! Also, I found a really helpful article about the Craftsman CMCS500M1 on TechReviewer. It provides an in-depth analysis of its performance and features. You can check it out here Overview of the Craftsman CMCS500M1 Circular Saw.
Thanks for sharing that link! The RPM seems decent for most tasks, but what about the brushless vs brushed motor? Any opinions on which is better?
I prefer brushless motors personally. They're more efficient and have a longer lifespan than brushed motors.
I've used both in the past and can vouch for @palmettoquinn's opinion. Brushless motors offer better performance, especially in heavy-duty tasks.
That's helpful to know. The 20-volt battery seems like it should provide good power too. Have any of you had experiences with the battery life?
I found that the battery life is satisfactory for most tasks, but it might struggle with very heavy-duty work.
Same here, I didn't face any issues during regular use, but I can imagine it could be a limiting factor for some projects.
Thanks for all the input, guys. I think I'll give the Craftsman CMCS500M1 a try and see how it works out for me.
