I'm considering getting a Skil 7292-02 sander for my next DIY project. Has anyone here used one before? I've heard good things about it.

That's helpful, thanks. What do you think about the no-load speed of 14,000 OPM? I'm not sure if that will be enough for my project.

The no-load speed is pretty good! It should handle most small-scale projects well. However, if your project requires more power or precision, you might want to look at other options.

I've used the Skil 7292-02 sander and it's perfect for small projects and intricate surfaces. The dust collection feature is a plus too!

Great, thanks for all your input! I'll definitely check out that article @alexisdevaul mentioned about the Skil 7292-02. It sounds like it could be a good choice for my needs.

No problem, @digilychee. Just remember to take your time and measure your work area so you can ensure the sander's cord reaches where you need it!

That's true! Good luck with your project, @digilychee!
