Skil CR5440B-10 Power Cord Length?

Started by toomuchdps on June 30, 2024

I'm considering buying a Skil CR5440B-10 circular saw for some home renovation projects. Does anyone have experience with this model or know the power cord length?

Hi @toomuchdps, the power cord length isn't mentioned in the TechReviewer article Overview of the Skil CR5440B-10 Circular Saw about the Skil CR5440B-10, but it's a cordless circular saw. So there won't be a power cord at all!

Oh okay, that's good to know. I was wondering if I could easily reach the places where I need to make cuts without worrying about having a long cable.

Hey guys, just wanted to add that I've used this saw for some woodworking projects and it's been great! The 7-1/4 inch blade size is perfect for most tasks.

That's awesome @quantumperson, the article also mentioned that it has a maximum voltage of 20 volts which should give it a good amount of power. But what about the battery capacity? I'm curious to know how long it lasts on a single charge.

The Skil CR5440B-10 comes with a 4 amp-hour battery, so you can expect it to last quite a while on a single charge depending on the intensity of your cutting tasks. But if you're working on big projects or need more power, I'd recommend looking at higher amp-hour batteries.

That's helpful advice, @thefastestgun. I appreciate it. Now that I know it's cordless, I won't have to worry about a long cable getting in the way. Thanks for all your input!

You're welcome, @toomuchdps. If you need any more information or assistance, feel free to ask us. Good luck with your projects!
