Hi @jaking1979! I have used the Skil SPT67FMD-01 before and found it to be quite good. It worked well for me in cutting through plywood, hardwood, and even some metal. The 7-1/4 inch blade size was great for my projects.

Hey everyone, just wanted to chime in that I've also used the Skil SPT67FMD-01 and it performed very well. I was particularly impressed with its power and how smoothly it cut through various materials. The no-load speed of 5,300 RPM definitely makes a difference.

@deeblowace, I agree! That 5,300 RPM is really impressive. It's awesome to know that it can handle different types of jobs without any issues. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I'm thinking about buying the Skil SPT67FMD-01 but was wondering if anyone had thoughts on its corded nature. Is it a pain to have the cord around when working?

@psquid1121, I've used the Skil SPT67FMD-01 and found that the cord wasn't too much of an issue for me. It's true that there were times when I wished for more mobility, but overall, it wasn't a big deal. Plus, you get used to it after a while.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! Based on your experiences and advice, I think I'll go ahead and purchase the Skil SPT67FMD-01 circular saw. Hopefully, it will serve me well for my upcoming project.
