I've used one before! It's a pretty solid saw, but it doesn't specifically mention cutting through plastic. You might want to check out Overview of the Skil SPT78MMC-01 Circular Saw for more details on its capabilities.
Thanks for the link, @SociallyAwkwardGent. I noticed that the saw has an 8-inch blade and operates at a no-load speed of 3,900 RPM. What are your thoughts on using it for cutting wood or metal?
I've used the Skil SPT78MMC-01 for both wood and metal, and it works great! The power rating is 15 amps, which gives it plenty of cutting power. I'm impressed with its performance overall.
I've had a mixed experience with the saw. It does work well for some tasks, but I've found that it struggles with certain types of wood. The weight can also be a bit much for smaller projects.
I used the Skil SPT78MMC-01 to cut through plastic recently, and it worked surprisingly well! The article Overview of the Skil SPT78MMC-01 Circular Saw provides more information on its performance in different materials. It's definitely a versatile tool!
That's good to know, @Liolaina. Thanks for sharing your experience with cutting plastic. I'll check out the article you mentioned and make my decision based on all the input I've received.
Just remember that every saw has its limitations, so be sure to choose one that best suits your specific needs. Good luck with your decision!
