Hey @Halfpintplease, it's been a while since I last visited this forum, but I remember using the Skil SPTH77M-11 when I was working on my home renovation project. It worked great for me!

Oh really? That's good to hear! @spencerfitch Can you tell us more about your experience with it?

I've been using the Skil SPTH77M-11 lately, and I'm pretty impressed with its power. The no-load speed is 5,800 RPM, which makes for quick and smooth cuts.

Thanks for sharing the link, @simplygod. I'll definitely check it out! The RPM seems like a good indicator of the saw's cutting capabilities.

True, but remember that higher RPMs can sometimes be less beneficial when dealing with harder materials. Slower speeds are often better in those cases.

That's interesting to know. @spencerfitch How did you find the Skil SPTH77M-11's ergonomics and ease of use?

I found it pretty comfortable to hold and operate, but I'm not sure about the bevel angle range. The TechReviewer article mentioned earlier goes into detail on that aspect.

Thanks for all the input! @spencerfitch, @CptRavioli, and @simplygod. I'll probably give the Skil SPTH77M-11 a try, especially since it's cordless and has a 5 Ah battery. That should make it more convenient for my projects.

I'm considering buying the same saw as well! Just wanted to chime in and ask about its weight. How heavy is the Skil SPTH77M-11?

It's not the lightest circular saw out there, but it's not too bad either - 11.09 lbs. The extra weight might be due to its powerful battery.

Yep, I agree with @spencerfitch. For me, it was worth carrying the extra weight for the performance and convenience of a cordless tool.
