Hey, I've been using the Makita XSH07ZU for a few months now and it's been great! The cordless feature is really convenient, especially when working in tight spaces or outdoors.
Yeah, I'm also considering getting one. What's the maximum volts on this saw?
It operates at a max voltage of 18-36 volts. That should give you plenty of power for most DIY projects.
Hey guys, there's an insightful article about the Makita XSH07ZU over at Overview of the Makita XSH07ZU Circular Saw. You might find it helpful to read through it for more details on its performance and features.
Thanks,@vangogeo. I'll definitely check out that link. The cordless feature is really appealing, but I'm curious about battery capacity. Do you know if the saw comes with a battery or if we need to purchase one separately?
Hey@arizzolo, it doesn't come with a battery. You'll have to purchase one separately. But the battery capacity definitely affects runtime and performance.
That's good to know. I'm also wondering about its no-load speed. How fast does this saw cut through materials?
The Makita XSH07ZU operates at a no-load speed of 6,000 RPM. This should give you pretty quick and smooth cuts in most materials.
Great, thanks for the info. It sounds like this saw would be perfect for my DIY projects. I'll probably go ahead and get one.
